Printing Report Cards Individual
1.After entering grades for a student, you can print an individual report card. Once you see the Changes Recorded page, click on the Back button or the student’s name on the left. Then, click on the pull-down menu, [Select screens] at the top right corner. Select Print A Report.

2.In the screen Print A Report, for the option Which report would you like to print?, select one of the report card options.
If you used the Gradebook, you do not have to quit the gradebook. You can still access the printing process. You can even make changes in the gradebook, save and the changes will appear automatically when you print again.
3.Then click on the SUBMIT button.
4. Once you click Submit, PowerSchool will take you to the Report Queue page. The screen will show the status of your print job. It will say “Running”. You will need to click on the Refresh button until it says Completed.
Make sure you are on the Start Page of PowerSchool Teacher. Click on the Start Page if needed.
To print individual student report cards, click on the backpack icon labeled, Student Info.
5. When the report is completed, click on the blue Completed.
Side note: Eventually all these reports will accumulate. You will need to delete them by clicking on the trash can icon next to Completed.
6. A window will appear. Choose the option that says Save to Disk. The file should appear on your desktop as the name of the report you chose.
7. If you double click on the file and the report card does not automatically open using Adobe Acrobat, but instead with Preview, close the program. Instead, you will have to open the file manually.
-Hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and click once on the file. Or right click on the file if you have a two button mouse.
-Then select the Open with option.
-From the list of programs, select Adobe Reader.
8. Then to print, in the Adobe Acrobat program, click on File, Page Setup
9. In Page Setup, the scale percentage should be 100% and Paper Size US Legal. Also make sure the Orientation is landscape (a.k.a. the long way). Click OK.
10. Place 8.5”x14” paper into the printer.
11. Click on File, select Print.
12.Click on the Print button.
NOTE: The report card PDF files do accumulate on your computer. You can rename the file to the student name and keep the file or delete them. Also remember to log out when you are done entering grades!
Report cards will be deleted from PowerSchool after 14 days. You can reprint them or save a copy on your computer.
