Grade Scale Setup - Change Group
If the entire class has a different grade scale from the default district scale, make sure you do Grade Scale Setup - Change Entire Class first before you continue with the group changes. Also for group grade scale changes, student groups need to be created first.
1. In the left Student Group window, select the group you want to change the grade scale.
Step 3: Then select grade scale.
2. Then under the Student Groups window title, click on the pull-down menu and select the option Filter Selected.
Once this is done, the students in the group will be the only ones to display in the student roster.
3. When your list of students in the group are displayed, hold down the control button on your keyboard and click once on a student name in the student roster. (PC and two button mouse users, right click on a student name.) When the Set Grade Scales option appears, release the button and click on the option.
4. When you click on Set Grade Scales, a window will appear Select Grade Scale for Students. You can change the grade scale for one student here, however, it’s best to use this method for group changes.
Click on the option Displayed Students in order to change the grade scale for the selected students that were filtered.
Then in the Grade Scale pull-down menu, select the grade scale you want to apply to this group of students.
Click OK when you are done.
