Click OK when you are done.

4.If you are entering comments for entire class you do not need to click on each student.  After entering you comments for a student and clicking ok, the score inspector will still remain.  Do not close the window, instead, next to the student name, there are two up/down arrows.  Click on the down arrow to move to the next student.  Then repeats Steps 2-3 above.  When you are completely done, click on the Close button for the Score Inspector window.

When a comment is entered for a student, you’ll see a blue C appear next to the student’s final grade.  This confirms a comment has been entered.  You need to insert a comment for each applicable reporting term.

Summary:  How to input teacher comments

1.To enter a comment for a student, from the Scoresheet, double click on the student’s final grade. (Located to the right of the arrow.)

The Score Inspector appears when you double click on the student’s final grade.  At the bottom of the Score Inspector  window, there is a comment text box.  You can enter your own comment but you also must enter a school standards comment.

For majority of classes (please check with your school for specific directions), a standards comment must be entered for all students.  Please also keep in mind that if you have a student that is graded by a differentiated scale, make sure you use the “Based on differentiated standards.” comment.
