Citizenship Grades

 

Please create one assignment (with 10 points or more) and fill the scores for Homeroom class to ensure the citizenship is calculated/published.  Not having an assignment may cause citizenship not to show up for students.

Select a class from the list. 


Make sure you are on the Scoresheet tab.

Select the reporting term you want to enter the citizenship for.


HMS Teachers for Reporting Term:

    Q1 - Select Q1

    Q2/S1 - Select Q2 to enter citizenship

    Q3 - Select Q3

    Q4/S2 - Select Q4 to enter citizenship


SMHS Teachers for Reporting Term:

    Q1 - Select Q1

    Q2/S1 - Select S1 to enter citizenship

    Q3 - Select Q3

    Q4/S2 - Select S2 to enter citizenship

After you selected the Reporting Term, to the right of the menu, there are two Modes, Assignments and Final Grade.


Click on the Final Grade button.  When you have selected Final Grade, the button should turn blue.

For Homeroom class, you will only see a column for Citizenship







For academic classes, you will see the Final Grade, categories, and citizenship.

In both cases, homeroom or an academic class, to mass fill the citizenship grade, hold down the control button, click on the assignment score once.  (Right click if you have a two button mouse.)


Release the button once you get the menu options, choose the option Fill Scores.  See Fill Scores below for options.

Homeroom only has Citizenship column.

Academic classes have final grade, citizenship and category totals.

Menu Options


There are four options in the citizenship grade menu, Grades, Clear Scores, Fill Scores, and Show Score Inspector.


Grades


If you select the grades option, beside the menu a list of the possible citizenship grades will appear.  You can click on any one of these letter grades and the grade will appear on the scoresheet for the selected student.

Clear Scores


If you select the clear scores option, this will delete the existing citizenship grade.

Fill Scores


If you select the fill scores option, a new window will appear.








In the Fill Scores window, there are two options to mass fill the grade,


Students with no grade - Fills in the score for all students that currently do not have grades.


OR


Replace All - Fill all scores regardless of what is already there.


Click OK when you are done.  Also remember to click on SAVE once all the scores are filled.

Show Score Inspector


Selecting the Show Score Inspector will open another window.  In the Show Score Inspector window, there is a pull-down menu in the center.  There you can choose the letter grade to give to the student.


You can move onto the next student by click on the the arrows next to the student name.  Clicking on the down arrow will take you to the next student.  Clicking on the up arrow will take you to the previous student.


Click on Close when you are done making changes/entries.

To issue grades for citizenship, just type in the letter grade for each of the students.
