Categories
3.There are default categories already setup in PST, Homework, Project, Quiz, and Test. You can add additional categories. All categories apply to all classes.
Adding a new category
1. Click on the plus (+) symbol located on
the lower left corner of the window.
2. Enter the name of the category.
3. Enter an abbreviation.
4. You can give the category a color.
5. Enter the points possible.
6. Select a score type, (points, percentage,
or letter grade).
7. Check whether this category is used to
include in the final grade.
8. Enter a description for the category. The description can be seen by parents to describe the category and how it may be graded or the contribution to the final grade.
Editing a category
1. Click on any of the categories you want to edit.
2. Change any of the information.
Deleting a category
1. To delete a category, click on the category you want to delete then the minus (--) symbol located on the lower left corner of the window.
When you are done, click on the Close button.
1.To view the grade scale, click on the Tools menu.
2.Then select Categories.
